Ballroom for All invites couples of all backgrounds to join this welcoming Wedding Dance Workshop designed to help you feel confident, connected, and comfortable on the dance floor for your special day.
In this one-hour beginner-friendly workshop, you will learn simple movements, partner connection, and practical dance techniques that will help you feel more relaxed and natural during your first dance. Whether you are dreaming of something elegant and romantic or simply want to feel comfortable moving together, this class will give you the tools to make your moment shine.
No dance experience is required. Absolute beginners are welcome, and terrified beginners are especially welcome.
The workshop is led by World Champion dance instructor Robbie Tristan, who has more than 20 years of experience teaching adult beginners and preparing couples for their wedding day. Robbie is also the founder of the longest-running Queer Ballroom dance program in New York City and is known for creating inclusive, supportive environments where everyone can feel confident learning to dance.
Couples often come into their first dance feeling nervous about being in the spotlight. Our goal is to transform that nervousness into excitement and confidence so you can truly enjoy this meaningful moment together.

The first dance is a traditional element of the Wedding Ceremonies, we meet lots of couples who are very scared of this experience. We love to turn this fear into one of the most exciting experiences of your wedding planning process. Our goal is to make you look confident and comfortable, while you perform your first dance together as husband and wife and we want you to have fun, while you prepare for it.
